Facilitator is German Gerd Nottelmann
The Guyana Amateur Swimming Association will be hosting an Advanced Swimming Coaches’ Clinic from May 1st through 10th.
The lecturer will be Mr. Gerd Nottelmann (of Germany) who held the Intermediate Clinic here last year which attracted 12 participants. Mr. Nottelmann has many years of experience – as a competitive swimmer, coach and lecturer – and his 2008 clinic was well organised and detailed.
Clinic hours will be all day on May 1, 2, 3, 5, 9 and 10 and in the evenings on the working days. There will be practical sessions on paper and in the pool. If any participants did not attend last year’s clinic, there will be a brief review.
The cost of the clinic will not exceed $8,000.
Persons desirous of participating but cannot afford the fee immediately, can make contact with GASA. Application forms can be uplifted at the Colgrain Pool, Camp Street.
More information on the clinic can be obtained form the Association Vice-President (Technical), Nicholas Fraser or Secretary, Karen Pilgrim.
