From Alliance For Change
The Leader, Executive and Members of the Alliance For Change extend Easter greetings to Guyanese across the 10 regions of Guyana and in the Diaspora.
When we gather in churches and as we enjoy our picnics and kite flying with our family and friends, to give praise and celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, let us all be reminded of his humility, devotion, unconditional love, and the sacrifice He made to redeem us all from our sins.
In remembering Him who triumphed over evil and conquered death to become immortal, let us all emulate the qualities that he displayed, as we work to forge racial unity and peace within this dear land.
Let the joy that Easter brings, renew our faith and confidence in his mercy and blessed assurance that change is coming especially for a better way of life in Guyana.
From PNCR
Easter Greetings are extended to all Guyanese especially members of the Christian community in this Region and the rest of the world.
This important event in the Christian calendar has its significance through the death of Jesus Christ and the celebration of his resurrection. Its symbolic values lie in the fact that death is followed by resurrection.
This message must resonate with all Guyanese as the nation grapples with the variety of serious problems. The Easter Festival is one of hope that, at the end of the day, what is right and good would triumph, over what is difficult and appears hopeless.
The People’s National Congress Reform wishes that all of the Guyanese people would take the message of Easter to heart and remain hopeful for the future, even though the present circumstances appear to be unpromising.
The Party wishes all Guyanese a happy, joyous and fulfilling Easter.
Indian Arrival Committee
The Indian Arrival Committee (IAC) joins with our Christian brothers and sisters in commemorating the festival of Easter.
This auspicious occasion, not only marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but it is also the season of hope.
The IAC urges all Guyanese citizens to pay heed to these important messages brought to us on the occasion of Easter to work together co-operatively and harmoniously for the economic development and growth of Guyana and for the National Unity.
May the lessons of EASTER, encourage all Guyanese to build greater family values, promote peace, brotherhood and unity and eradicate animosity among our peoples.
The IAC extends a peaceful and Happy Easter to all our Christian brothers and sisters and to all Guyanese.
