The Guyana Police Force is notifying the public that in order to facilitate the flying of kites in Georgetown, the following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic from 08:00 hrs. to 20:00 hrs on Monday:
Camp Street – Between Carifesta Avenue and Seawall Road.
Seawall Road – From Pegasus to Kitty Seawall.
Rabbit Walk – From Young Street to Seawall Road.
Albert Street – Between Woolford Avenue and Thomas Road
J. B. Singh Road – From David Street to Carifesta Avenue.
Carifesta Avenue – Traffic will be allowed to flow eastward only between Vlissengen Road and Camp Street.
No traffic will be allowed to proceed in a westward direction.
Thomas Road – Traffic will be allowed to flow westward only.
