Several teams will vie for top honours when the Maurice Q Murray in collaboration with the West Demerara Domino Association stages a King Domino competition this Sunday, April 12, at Frankie’s Place, Goed Intent, West Bank Demerara.
This is the 6th edition of the tournament and Murray, who resides in the USA, has returned specially to participate. Double Six Time is, 13:00hrs and the admission fee is $500 per person. Trophies and cash prizes are at stake and there will also be a ‘must be won’ surprise package. Meanwhile, Murray will also compete in the Champion trophy Lien Domino Competition to be played at the same venue from 18:30hrs on Tuesday April 14. Several persons have already etched their names on the trophy and include G. Samuels, W. McPherson, R. Grosvenor, Eldon Phillips, Kipp and Murray himself.
