Meanwhile, those who were injured in the accident have also been identified.

This newspaper was told that the dead and injured were all brought out from the accident site late Saturday evening because of the condition of the trail, which the vehicle that transported them had to traverse.
On Saturday last around 11:00 hours at New Road Aranapai, in the Puruni area, a truck GLL2372 was heading downhill when one of the rear wheels hit a stone. The vehicle then overturned.
Reports are that the vehicle was traveling at a very fast rate and this may have also contributed to the accident.
