As police continue their manhunt for the reputed husband of Beverley Ann Mangru there are reports that the man has since fled to Berbice.
According to a source close to the investigation, the police have received reports that the suspect 31-year-old Devon Limerick was spotted somewhere in Berbice.
The source said the police have since communicated that information to their counterparts in that Division.
The police said they would continue to hunt the suspect and ensure that the family of the slain woman gets justice as they maintain their commitment to fight domestic violence.
Meanwhile a post mortem preformed on the woman’s remains yesterday revealed that she died as a result of one incision to her neck.
On Wednesday night last the 39-year-old mother of four had her neck slashed following a heated argument with her reputed husband.
The woman was killed in her 77 New Road, Vreed-en-Hoop home.
Following the attack, the woman’s attacker fled the scene after locking the front door thus preventing anyone from rendering assistance to the wounded woman.
