Knight Riders beat Belle Plaine in final

Knight Riders defeated Belle Plaine by 25 runs in the final of the Vishal Kawal and Chandreka Ragnauth 10 overs softball cricket final played last Sunday at Belle Plaine, Wakenaam.
Knight Riders batted first managing 118-6 in 10 overs with Sunil Persaud carving out 46 and Navin Narine 30.
Chandreka Ragnauth and Keval Chulai took two wickets each for Belle Plaine who in reply were restricted to 93-7 off their 10 overs.
Ragmauth returned with the bat to hit 22 while Navin Narine also showed his all round ability by capturing 3-24 and Dilip Persaud took 2-26 for the winners.
Knight Riders were presented with the winning prize of one Sheep.
