Dear Editor,
Should the Golden Arrowhead be making representation at the 2009 Miss Universe Pageant in the Bahamas, organisers might need to immediately use this short period of preparation with the moulding and grooming of that individual, for that event will once again be very competitive.
As much as we might not have been creating the full impact of recognition over the past few years; maybe some re-adjustments might also need to be discussed with the approach usually used.
A refreshing change could be the involvement of the Amerindian Community using their creative skills and having the representative showcase a design concept with the national costume to the world over. The concept can also be completed with a bow and arrow.
This might also need the organisers to begin preparations for winging out for the 2-3 days “2009 Moruca Day Celebrations, Region 1” where they can have a preview of the final work of design concepts.
This event is also expected to see many more improved performances of participants on the runway with guidance from a past showing (DVD) of a Victoria Secret Fashion Show which has already been in possession of one of the main trainers based in the area.
The planning committee might also need to begin its marketing promotion of the event, consider extending an invitation to fellow craft designers from Region 4 to participate with the intervention of the Amerindian Ministry and yes, DIGICEL, this event belongs to you with any promotions you might have in the making.
