Dear Editor,
It is my hope that the comforting words given to the British tourist, Bernard Melling by the British Deputy High Commisssioner, Simon Bond was enough for him to reconsider Guyana during a future visit with better supervision and guidance from the Tourism sector.
Please, continue to encourage your foreign guests about following guidelines, which should be taken/used when in company of no one.
It was definitely a gruesome photo shot of the victim’s face from the Kaieteur News article dated 3.22.09 from the attack of the taxi driver and his accomplice.
This reminds me of an earlier report a few days back when two German visitors shared similar fate around America and Longden streets. Actions by rogues in no way represent the mass and of course, it becomes more difficult for the committed advocates to focus with their quest.
It was an act of kindness by the couple of persons who came to the rescue of the visitor and thank you for your consideration.
