The 28-year-old Sparta fisherman, who is accused of raping his mother, burst uncontrollably into tears after he was released on $40,000 bail by Magistrate Faith Mc Gusty.
The victim who was also present in court took the same opportunity to tell the court that it was her husband who told her son to commit the act.
It is alleged that on December 16, 2006, at Sparta, the man had sex with his mother while she was under the influence of alcohol. He allegedly repeated this act on numerous occasions.
The report further stated that for two years after December 16, the accused was out of the jurisdiction.
And Mark Boyal, 32, of Friendship Canal, lost his life when a branch from a huge tree fell and hit him in his head on Tuesday.
Eyewitnesses described the accident as most unfortunate. A the time the man was standing behind an excavator
Boyal, a chainsaw operator, was working in the Barama back dam when tragedy struck.
According to information, Boyal and a few of his workers were clearing some bushes in the back dam when suddenly a branch fell and knocked him unconscious.
He sustained a wound to his head and was admitted to the Suddie Public Hospital, where he later succumbed.
A post mortem performed yesterday revealed that the man died from a fractured skull.
