South Pole chalked 85 games to emerged champions of the Anand Dhanyshore Domino competition played recently at Carlosh residence at Good Success, Wakenaam.
Ravi Persaud was their leading player with 16 games.
Sea Shore and Underdog were tied in second place as both teams scored 76 games each, but the former was given the edge for making more sixes (7) ahead of Sea Shore who made 4. Mohamed Sherifuddin scored 15 games for Sea Shore while Krishendat Hansraj made 16 for Underdog.
The lone love bird was Khalid Zaman of Sea Shore.
Ravi Persaud took the competition’s most valuable player award while Satinarine Singh of South Pole collected a prize for sharing the only love in the competition.
South Pole received the winning trophy, while Sea Shore collected the runner up prize. Underdog was also given an award for their effort. (Zaheer Mohamed)
