Rameshwar Arjun is at his wits’ end, after he came out of the Coney Island entertainment park on Carifesta Avenue on Wednesday night and realized that his car had been stolen.
The Nootenzuil, East Coast Demerara resident told Kaieteur News yesterday that he and his family arrived at the fun park at approximately 20:10hrs and after having quite a pleasant evening, left the ground two hours later, around 22:15hrs, only to discover that his Toyota Carina car, PHH 7028, was gone. He made a report to the Brickdam Police Station.
Arjun said that he has had the car for about seven years now. He noted that while his car was secured, it did not have any alarm system.
He said that he made several checks around the area, and even in Georgetown and on the East Bank of Demerara, but still did not find his vehicle.
Arjun is offering a reward to anyone who has information which can lead to the recovery of his car. He can be contacted on telephone numbers, 256-0285, 619-2406 or 674-3444.
