The semi-finals of the Memorex softball cricket competition are slated for the March 15. The games will see Rangers Sports Club (West Coast) versus Regal XI (Georgetown) and Untouchables XI (Berbice) against Wolf Warriors XI (West Coast).
Meanwhile, quarter-final results show, Regal XI Georgetown made light work of Downtown XI of Berbice by 7 wkts.
Downtown XI batted first and scored 84 all out in 14.5 overs (Sanjay Khan 13 not out (1×4); Balram Roopnarine 2-5 from 3 overs; Mahase Chunilall 2-9 from 3 overs; Mahendra Arjune 2-15 from 3 overs) In reply Regal XI made 85-3 from 8 overs (Wasim Haslim 35 (2×6;3×4); Shaun Khan 1-26 from 3 overs).
And Untouchables XI of Berbice defeated Trophy Stall XI by 42 runs: Untouchables XI batted first and scored 126-7 in 15 overs (Glen Seebarran 36 (5×6); Ravi Ramnauth 3-15 from 3 overs) In reply Trophy Stall were bundled out for 84 in 14 overs (Rajin Mohamed 20 (2×6); Kenny Persaud 3-7 from 3 overs).
