Dear Editor,
The government’s handling of the CLICO situation leaves much to be desired. It has failed the nation.
The presdent is playing with this nation as if we’re children.
This crisis is a national one, and to use the Babu John pilgrimage to highlight some issues is like degrading the late Leader. He is blaming others for his incompetence. I wonder who the individuals are who withdrew funds from CLICO after being bailed out by the NBS. This seems to be another Globe Trust issue.
The government needs to stop embarrassing themselves because this issue will come back to haunt them. For this year, the Gods seem to be working against the government. This just might very well be the end of the PPP.
Too many frauds are swept under the carpet. Also, let us have an investigation into the monies spent on the Providence-Edinburgh East Bank Berbice roads each year.
The Region Six administration is taking Berbicians for a ride. They are having a field day.
