The annual R&R International 11-race cycling programme is set for this morning at the National Park.
Christopher Holder will be defending the feature 35-lap and juvenile trophies which he captured last year but fellow junior Geron Williams will be in hot pursuit to claim the top spot this time around.
The feature race will also have the likes of Robin Persaud, Lear Nunes, Junior Niles, Ian ‘Dumb Boy’ Jackson, Raymond Newton, Darren Allen and Warren ‘Forty’ Mc Kay who has enjoyed a good year to date, his last win coming at the Cheddi Jagan memorial road race on Sunday last in Berbice.
The veteran’s, juniors and BMX riders will also be catered for as usual. Representatives of the sponsor will be o hand to assist with the presentation of prizes.
