– ahead of NLE Championships
Bounty Farm Limited continued its steadfast support of the Bounty Colts Basketball Club yesterday when the company handed over a set of new uniforms to the team ahead of the Next Level Entertainment (NLE) tournament.
Managing Director of Bounty Farm, Patrick DeGroot told Kaieteur Sport that the Group has decided to renew the sponsorship as part of their annual contribution to the team in recognition of the role of sport in society.
“Bounty Farm recognises the importance of sports in development of our youth. This is our continued support to the team and I want to encourage them to produce good results and show good sportsmanship,” DeGroot stated. The new uniforms will definitely improve the image of the team ahead of the showpiece NLE Championships where the best clubs from Linden and Georgetown are expected to be adorned in the finest respective apparel.
“This presentation means a lot to the team. Bounty has been supporting us for years now and all we need at this time is discipline; this presentation is tremendous back–up,” the team’s Head Coach, Phillip George observed.
George said that he is looking forward to their first game in the tournament since he has a lot of young talent that he wants to promote. He recognised the depth of potential in his senior players ahead of their first NLE game.
Bounty Colts will play Linden’s Victory Valley Royals in an extremely difficult contest Wednesday night at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall. The physically charged game will mark the first in the competition for both teams. (Edison Jefford)
