Competition in the Toucan Industries Mash Junior Squash tournament continued Friday evening at the Georgetown Club Courts with leading Category A player Raphael DeGroot overcoming his opponent to lead a cast of talented juniors to victories during the evening.
DeGroot beat Nicholas Narain in three sets, while in that category, Oliver Downes got the better of Deje Dias and Jason Ray Khalil had to fight to halt Keisha Jeffrey.
Jefrey’s twin sister Kayla, had a easier time against Nyron Joseph in the B category, while Victoria Arjoon march past Ashley DeGroot. Steven Xavier had a marathon battle, but emerged the victor against Jason Van Dyk.
