Lusignan Sports Club advanced to the final of the Demerara Cricket Board’s Hand-in Hand 50 overs second division knock-out cricket competition with a semi-final win against Transport Sports Club over the weekend and will now face McGill in the final at Everest on Saturday.
In their semi-final, Lusignan, the East Coast Champions, beat City winners Transport sport club in a contest which was reduced to 40 overs a side due to rain.

Lusignan in reply knocked off the runs in 25 overs with Herilall Hira scoring top scoring with 32.
Mc Gill beat Nandy Park by three runs in the other semi-final.
Meanwhile, Georgetown will clash with East Coast today at the Everest ground in the final of the DCB Inter-Association U-15 50 overs competition.
