Junior McFarlane, 33, of 1251 Leopold Street, Georgetown, yesterday appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson charged with trafficking in narcotics and was remanded. It is alleged that the accused on March 28, last year, in Georgetown, had in his possession seven grams of cocaine for the sole purpose of trafficking.
“Your worship, I in the lock-ups for a while now. I have spent over six months in prison for this same case your worship. I just want to get out of this place.”
The defendant was further remanded to prison until February 9.
