The President and Executive members of the Berbice Cricket Board of Control (BCBC) has offered congratulations to Chetram Singh on his re-election as President of the Guyana Cricket Board.
The BCBC also wishes to extend congratulations to the other Executive members. In a release the board stated, “We are confident that with hard work and commitment, Guyana’s cricket would once again rise to the top and the BCBC is prepared and ready to work along with the new Executive to achieve this goal. 2009 would see massive development in Berbice Cricket and it is the BCBC’s hope that similar development would take place throughout the country.
The BCBC would also like to acknowledge the contribution of former GCB Vice President’s Malcolm Peters and Alvin Johnson, former Secretary Bishwa Panday and former Assistant Treasurer Anil Beharry.
The GCB over the years benefitted from their vast experience and the BCBC salutes them on their contributions to Guyana’s cricket. It is the Board’s view that they all contributed greatly, and should be honoured for their service.”
