Republic Bank winner earns final award

Helkah Velloza was presented with a million-dollar cheque last Friday at the Bank’s Linden Branch. Velloza’s name was selected at a Prize Draw held at the Camp Street Branch on January 16, last.
Republic Bank rewarded a lucky customer in each of the three months of the campaign.
Last October, Arth Austin won $150 000 at the Anna Regina Branch, while in November Alison Tinnie also won the same cash amount at the Camp Street Branch.
In December 2008 it was Clarence Tores who also took home another $150 000 from the Anna Regina Branch.
Velloza’s prize was the grand prize. Customers became eligible to win prizes with successful loan applications during the campaign period October 01 to December 31, 2008.
The first customer, at each branch, to have his loan approved was also rewarded with $10,000 in cash.
