Fifty-year-old Kumar Lall, who allegedly stole $17,000 from his brother, was placed on $10,000 bail by Magistrate Faith Mc Gusty after he was charged with robbery with violence.
Counsel Sunil Scarce, who represents the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security, made a bail application on Lall’s behalf.
Lall, the court heard, had a history of domestic problems with his brother and once served a two-year sentenced for a similar offence.
