Who will lead the hockey fraternity will be answered tomorrow when the Guyana Hockey Board (GHB) holds its Annual General Meeting, at the Georgetown Cricket Club Pavilion from 19:30 hrs.
Incumbent President Timothy McIntosh is expected to receive stiff opposition from persons such as Old Fort’s Gavin Hope, while it has been rumoured that GCC and national player Tricia Fiedtkou might also contest the same position.
Others likely to put their hats in the race for the top post are Telecommunications Technician Ivor Thompson, who possesses a wealth of experience at the administrative level, fishing magnate Leslie Ramalho and Sales Representative Rawl Davson.
Ramalho and Davson are the current Vice-Presidents and they both should have a solid understanding of the office.
According to information received, each registered club will be allowed to send four representatives to the Meeting for the purpose of voting.
Clubs are also reminded that affiliation and registration fees ($10,000) along with any other outstanding monies owed to the Board must be paid in advance of the Meeting in order to be eligible to vote.
