The relatives of 15-year-old Treva Meusa, also known as “Denesia Meusa,” are seeking the public’s assistance to locate the missing teenager.
According to the teen’s aunt, Onika Henry, her niece, who is a pupil of the Chase Academy, left to attend school last Thursday morning, but failed to return.
The aunt said that after relatives realised that “time (was) slipping by and “Treva” had not returned from school,” they summoned the police. Henry explained that other family members joined in searching throughout Georgetown, trying desperately to locate the teen.
Henry said that the following day she called the teen’s school, only to learn that “Treva” had not turned up at school for the entire week.
The aunt further disclosed that this was not the first time that the teen had gone missing, but she noted that it was the longest period for which she had gone missing.
She said that, on the previous occasion, the child was found in the company of a 35-year-old man.
The aunt disclosed that the former St Rose’s High School student has a lot of potential, and she is at a loss as to why her niece behaves in this manner.
The woman said that the family has tried counselling, but she suspects that her niece has a boyfriend who may be leading her astray.
She is pleading with her niece to return home, so that the family could work things out for the better.
Persons who may know the whereabouts of the missing teen can contact her family on telephone numbers 218-2941, 674-1157, 225-2307 or 619-8172.
Persons can also contact the nearest police station.
