Dear Editor,
At the first bridge of the Diamond Housing Scheme, there are heaps of rotting garbage just flowing over the very small bin placed at the corner of the street allowing pigs, cows and other animals to have a feast.
Because of the constant visits to the garbage site by the animals, the garbage is being scattered and these same animals have been causing road fatalities.
It is a sickening sight to see garbage being strewn on the sides of the main public road of the scheme.
As a resident of the Scheme I am appealing to the Mayor and City Council or the relevant authorities to alleviate the garbage situation that carries a stench which is very disturbing.
Proper bins are needed, so please seek to address the removal of garbage frequently.
Ms. T. Xavier
