Guyana Amateur Boxing Association to hold General Elections Feb 12

Guyana Amateur Boxing Association is advising all Amateur Boxing Gyms and Members associated that their General Meeting to select the new Executives for the upcoming new term will be held on February 12, 2009 at Olympic House, Church & Peter Rose streets, Queenstown, Georgetown at 17:00 hours.
Only financial members will be allowed to participate and vote for a new Executive Board of their choice.
In a release from the association, they informed that, “As per the Guyana Amateur Boxing Association constitution article # 22, “the annual membership & affiliation fees are payable in advance in the month of January of every year”.
All members are therefore advised to ensure that all outstanding dues are paid to the Association on or before February 11, 2009 since no dues will be collected on the Day of the General Election.
Arrangement to pay Affiliation fees and outstanding dues can be made by contacting the Treasurer (Mr. Ravendra Ketwaru) on telephone number 627-3417 or the Secretary (Mr. Otis Van-Lewin) on telephone number 625-9764.
Club Membership fees are $2,500 annually, while Executives, Referees & Judges fees are $2,000 annually.
