Dear Editor,
The verdict is out against Region Ten. Our PPP Government so love residents here, including men, women, youths and children, that apart from resisting opening this region to access other TV programmes, they went further to openly promise to appeal the ruling of the learned Judge, Mr. Ian Chang.
It’s difficult to understand the PPP pugnacious attitude towards residents here. There is a maniac struggle within this region to recruit new members of the party.
Party operatives walk around with party application forms, while those within the regional administration try gamely through all kinds of nefarious doings to coerce and woo contractors.
The letter pages are silent on this issue. Those who benefit from PPP vision, who write about democracy, are silent. Organisations who pretend to champion the rights of citizens are silent, prominent speakers, those who do talk shows etc, are all silent.
I would like to hear from the following organisations and individuals on the oppressive and dark-minded leaders of Jagdeo’s outfit:
– Food for the Poor
– Guyana Consumers Association
– Guyana Human Rights Association
– Guyanese Organisation of Indigenous Peoples
– The Church in Guyana
– The Linden Ministers Fellowship
– The Rotary Club
– The Yesu’s
– Mr. Reece
– Mr. Joe Singh
– Mr. Granger
Linden region, Region Ten, is being held hostage socially, economically and developmentally by a Hitlerite PPP draconian outfit. In this age of modernisation, an entire region is burdened with the travesty of NCN. How, in the name of humanity, could men and women – some with families – sit and have their consciences so soiled and dark? It’s difficult to see Guyana expanding economically with such political and administrative miscreants.
I sat at home and was able to view the floods of the USA via television. While, in the city, I am able to view progressive stations and see what is happening in Guyana, in Linden, pictures of floods etc. are withheld, vital news information is coloured, and all is so watered down that, often, we hear the PPP truth, and not the actual truth.
All Linden anxiously await a robust response from Mr. Corbin. This could be the test of his significance. Mr. Editor, my fear is that residents could resort to unlawful activities to rid us, not just of this vacuous NCN, but against this national wickedness that has raped and darkened the entire Guyana.
As a Lindener, I compliment those who brought this matter to Parliament and the courts, while one major party’s leader seems bent on political narcissism. I continue in my group of youths and adults to document the activities of the PPP; because, despite how long, we will bring them to a Nuremburg-style trial. Linden/Region Ten will be free with or without Mr. Corbin.
His inactivity and half-step responses speak volumes in support of the alleged deals he has made with Jagdeo towards the 2011 elections.
