Among the proud first time mothers who benefited were Shainina Hubbard of La Penitence, Georgetown, who birth a girl; Lakisha Schultz of Laing Avenue, Georgetown who delivered a healthy baby boy; Arlene Leacock of East Ruimveldt who also delivered a boy; Slikaidai Pooran from Non Pareil, East Coast Demerara who delivered her first son; and Terry Ann Pyle from Roxanne Burnham Gardens gave birth to a daughter.
Among the other mothers were Kamla Ghanie of Success East Coast Demerara; Kishinattie Seerichand of Cove and John; and Carletta Agard from South Ruimveldt Gardens.
The parents of the first boy and girl at Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation received one super-big hamper each while all other new mothers were also presented with one hamper each.
