Black Stallion Warriors, led by a top score of 14 games by Trevor McArthur, amassed a final total of 77 games to emerge winners when the Champion of Champions Domino tournament concluded at the Shem Hideout, 244 South Vryheid’s Lust, Housing Scheme. Shem’s team scored 68 games to finish second, while Machine team ended up in the cellar with 63 games.
Shawn Wilson scored a tournament high 17 games but his effort failed to procure championship honours for his team, ‘Machine.’ He was eventually awarded a trophy for the most valuable player.
All trophies were donated by Alves Construction Ltd of Barbados. The organizers of the tournament were Johnny ‘Overseas’ Barnwell, Clarence Croft and Trevor McArthur.
