Three robbers posing as passengers made off with a taxi driver’s car at around 02:00hrs yesterday after holding him at knifepoint.
A police release said that Robert Griffith, of East Ruimveldt Housing Scheme, was hired by three men in Sheriff Street to go to Bel Air.
However, during the journey the men held Griffith at knifepoint, put him out of his vehicle and drove away with the blue AT 192 Toyota Carina motor car PJJ 8730. The vehicle has not been recovered.
