Vision Guyana Chairman, Peter Ramsaroop, after reading the appeal for help from the Dharm Shala, discussed the need of the organization with Owen and Bibi Khan of Florida. They immediately put a cheque in his hand for $200,000.
Ramsaroop said that Guyanese, like the Khans, who live abroad, have the people of Guyana close to their heart and are proud to contribute to their needs.
The Khans also have been contributing to the development of many communities around Guyana for years and are proud to support Vision Guyana’s call for help of the needy.
Mr Harry Ramsaroop, founder of the Dharm Shala, said that he was proud to accept the cheque and that many needy people will reap the benefits.
