Ms. Cycilyn Syne and her daughter, Ann Bentham, yesterday donated gifts to residents of Archer’s Home in Georgetown.
They ensured that the senior citizens were outfitted with towels, sheet sets, caps, night wear, and deodorant products. Ms. Syne said that she has worked as a nurse at a Brooklyn hospital in New York for 15 years and loved the feeling of caring and giving to those in need of such. Since she will be celebrating her birthday in January, she felt the inner need to give back to her country in some way.
Ann Bentham said that her mother, who is 76 years old, has always wanted to share the spirit of goodwill to those in homes such as Archer’s, and hopes that she is able to continue sharing in this way for as long as she has good health and strength.
