The Shell Service Stations have reintroduced their highly successful Velocita promotion, during which Shell customers can collect up to six different Ferrari model cars.
General Manager of Sol Guyana Incorporated, Ken Figaro, speaking at the launch of the promotion yesterday, explained that in the past the promotion had been extremely successful, and often times many adults were just as excited as their children when they redeemed coupons for the model cars.
He explained that with any purchase of $2500 (or multiples thereof) of V-Power gasoline, customers could redeem one coupon. After redeeming six coupons, customers would simply have to add $100 for one of the six model cars.
The General Manager said that this promotion, which will run for eight weeks or until stocks last, is only applicable with purchases of gasoline.

Figaro also said that the company had chosen the Service Station at Regent and King Streets to launch the promotion because it wanted to show the link between Shell gas stations and the ex-Esso gas stations.
Approximately one year ago, Sol took over all of the Esso gas stations, and according to Figaro, some time in the near future, these gas stations will be re-branded as Shell Service Stations.
