Today’s GLTA Mini-Tennis Festival relocated to the Gymnasium

The Guyana Lawn Tennis Association Mini-Tennis festival fixed for today has been relocated to the Gymnasium.
This mini-tennis competition is an annual event that shows off how primary schools have adopted the sport of mini-tennis as part of their PE program. Through competition, GLTA is able to identify players with the best potential to be trained in full-court tennis in the National Squad.
According to a release, the association sought to relocate this even to protect the young players from the inclement weather since there is not adequate shelter at the National Park.
All participating schools are asked to take note. Mini-Tennis Coach Shelly Daly can be reached at 227-7735 or 642-5672 for any additional information.
