Dear Editor,
I read with interest an article appearing in Kaieteur News, dated Monday, November 17th 2008, wherein an idea was expressed, which I think is a very good one, to erect a shrine/monument in remembrance of Jonestown dead in the Botanical Gardens.
I, however, felt that such a shrine/monument would be better placed at Port Kaituma, North West District, where the incident occurred, so that persons can visit the area and have a first hand look at the surroundings.
