-victim’s skull was fractured, knife punctured heart
A missing computer belonging to former NFA executive Fiesal Ferose Ali may hold clues to why he was stabbed and battered to death in his Alexander Village home.
Detectives have received information that suggests that Ali was slain because of information that he had stored on the computer.
They have also received reports that two young men, who are now in custody, had argued with Ali about the information. They had reportedly demanded that he hand over the data to them.
The computer appeared to be the only item that the killers stole from the former NFA executive’s residence.
The two young men and a third suspect are said to be frequent visitors to Ali’s Alexander Village home. According to information detectives have received, Ali had informed a neighbour on Tuesday that he was inviting the youths over to his home.
Two of the youths were reportedly arrested in Sophia, while the third was held at Ali’s Alexander Village residence.
Meanwhile, police said that an autopsy performed yesterday confirmed that Ali had succumbed from blunt trauma to the head and stab wounds.
The blows which fractured Ali’s skull are believed to have been inflicted with a hammer. One of the stab wounds penetrated the victim’s heart.
The body of the former NFA Deputy Leader was found on Wednesday on his bed with stab wounds to the chest, left shoulder and left arm. Ali also sustained a blow to the back of the head.
Police retrieved a bloodied knife and a hammer from a table near the bed. A receipt book was tucked beneath one of the pillows on the blood-soaked bed.
