WICB Director Chetram Singh (left) presents the cheque to Dr Frank Anthony, while PS Keith Booker appreciates the moment.
Guyana’s Sports Minister Dr Frank Anthony yesterday collected a cheque for US$750,000 from the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) as the remaining balance owned to the Guyana Government for gate receipts at the Guyana National Stadium for the six Super Eight ICC Cricket World Cup matches held in Guyana last year.

The simple presentation was made in the Minister’s Office on Main Street and Dr Anthony said he was very satisfied with Guyana’s hosting of the mega event.
