Domino players will be in action this Sunday, December 7 at two tournaments, the first, organized by the Black Stallion Sports Committee in collaboration with Johnny ‘Overseas’ Barnwell and Shem McArthur, while the second, by the Ex-Soldiers Association of Guyana.
The tournaments will be staged at different venues, the first at Shem’s Hideout, 244 South Vryheid’s Lust Housing Scheme, while the ex-soldiers will engage in a King and Queen’s affair at the Guyana Legion, Carifesta Avenue.
The first tournament, a pre-holiday affair will feature 9- teams and will see several of the country’s top teams vying for honours.
Competing teams are: Chaps, Winners, South Better Hope, Black Stallion Warriors, Shem Team, Machine, BV, Sophia and Ogle.
The teams placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd will win trophies donated by the Minister of Sports, Dr Frank Anthony, Attorney-at-Law, Basil Bradshaw, and Trophy Stall, Bourda Market.
The ex-soldiers will compete for trophies. Double-six time at Shem’s Place is 13:00hrs sharp, while the ex-soldiers will be in action from 14:30hrs.
