Terry Anrood was refused bail, yesterday, after he appeared before Magistrate Faith Mc Gusty charged indictably with malicious damage to property. Anrood pleaded not guilty after the charge was read to him summarily.
It is alleged on March, 18, last, at Walton Hall, Essequibo, Anrood unlawfully and maliciously damaged a DVD player and a quantity of beverage bottles. He also allegedly broke two wooden tables, all owned by Seeram Bisram
Anrood will make his next appearance January 20, 2009.
Anrood was also before the court for several traffic matters.
According to a police report, it is alleged on May 13, last, at Walton Hall, Anrood, as an unlicensed driver, was arrested astride motorcycle CC8820.
On the ensuing charge, he was fined $20,000.
For the charge of being an uncertified driver he was fined $25,000 with an alternative of one month imprisonment.
He was also charged with riding without a helmet and on conviction, fined $7,500.
