As part of its continued efforts to make shopping a pleasant experience, the management of Fogarty’s Shopping Centre opted to provide customers with lustrous musical and singing entertainment, compliments of a talented Peruvian group. The four-member group performed on Thursday and yesterday.
With their Spanish musical instruments, including a charrango, a ronroco, zampona, kuena, a pan flute, and a drum called the tantan, the group allured the customers to such an extent that some just had to leave off their shopping to pay closer attention.
This is the first time that the group has travelled to Guyana, and members will continue on a world tour, which will see them travelling to Colombia, Brazil, Suriname and French Guiana to showcase their extraordinary talents.
