Archrivals Good Success and Sans Souci will clash in what is expected to be an exiting final of the Busta 40 overs cricket competition today at the Wakenaam Community Sports Ground at Good Success.
Home team Good Success’ batting will be led by Wazeer Mohamed, Samsudeen Mohamed, Nazeer Mohamed Wazir Khan and Skipper Mustak Mohamed, while left arm spinner Imran Khan and pacer Chandreka Ragnauth are expected to lead their bowling attack with support from Nazeer Mohamed, Abdool Salim and Keval Chulai.
Meanwhile, Sans Souci who will miss Roopnarine Persaud who will be on duty with the Essequibo senior team in the inter-county 20/20 competition will depend on the hard hitting Wayne Osborne, Varounie Sasepaul, Jaggernauth Manbodh, Heera Sukhram and Seon Venture to score heavily, while their skipper former Guyana U-15 pacer Oyono Sampson will spearhead their bowling department.
He will look to off-spinners Nokta Moses, Gurnauth Khemraj and Vickram Ramnarine for support on a track which is expected to favour batsmen.
Managing director of the Guyana Beverage inc. Mr. Robert Selman is expected to meet the teams before the start of play. Action starts at 10:00am and a large crowd is expected.
