Sponsor of the Western Tigers Football Club, BK International yesterday presented a new set of uniforms to the club ahead of tomorrow’s Namilco Football Festival final against Alpha United at the National Stadium, Providence.
After suffering the ignominy of being relegated to the division one ranks from the Premier League, BK International Western Tigers have destroyed all and sundry in this division and are on their way back to the Premier League ranks for the 2009 season.
They have sounded a warning to their opponents at the top with their consistent performances over the past months and have racked up and enviable record of 13 wins and no losses to date with the high point of their dominance being qualification for tomorrow’s final against the number one club in Guyana.
Their hard work and consistent results according to CEO of BK International Brian Tiwari, has paid great dividends for them.
Speaking on behalf of the company at yesterday’s presentation ceremony which was attended by Mrs. Gloria Tiwari, their son Kyle and club President Gordon Gilhuys, Office Manager Egan Bazilio said that this presentation was just another of the donations they have made to the club since the company adopted them.
“And this is to ensure that the players are equipped with the necessary tools to do their job of playing football at a high and consistent standard.
We are very satisfied with the tremendous progress they have made and we wish them continued success in the future.”
Responding on behalf of the club, Secretary Dexter Cush thanked BK for their continued support and partnership which continues to stimulate the players to aim for the top.
