US medical mission ends
Yesterday, Guyana hosted US Ambassador John Jones, and senior officers the visiting USS Kearsarge in a thank you gesture at State House.
The occasion was a luncheon organised by President Bharrat Jagdeo.
Here President Jagdeo and Prime Minister Sam Hinds share a light moment with Ambassador Jones who is flanked by Captain Walt Towns (third form left) and Commodore Frank Ponds of the USS Kearsarge.
Also present are members of the medical mission ‘Continuing Promise.’
