Guinness street football tourney to be launched today

Banks DIH Ltd. in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sport and the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) will officially launch their Guinness “Greatest of De Street” four-a-side Football tournament today. The launching will take place at Water and Holmes Street, opposite Giftland Office Max starting at 7:00 p.m. under floodlights.

The tournament is expected to attract 32 Street teams, but today’s launching will feature a match between arch rivals Tiger Bay and Kingston as well a novelty events and an address by Minister of Culture Youth and Sport Dr. Frank Anthony.
