The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Mohamed Jamaludeen Baksh, 49, of Uitvlugt Pasture, West Coast Demerara, whose body was found at about 07:15 hours yesterday at the Two Brothers Rice Mill at Vergenoegen, East Bank Essequibo, where he was employed as a security guard.
Police in a press release did not mention if Baksh’s body bore any marks of violence but investigators are awaiting the results of the post-mortem examination of the body, which is presently at the West Demerara Regional Hospital.
