Camptown New York president Ralph Green on a brief visit to his homeland last week presented one set of complete uniforms to the Camptown junior squad in Guyana and one set of jerseys to the senior team.
Green said he had made a pledge to present the gear to the junior team based on their encouraging performances in a number of competitions they participated in under the auspices of the Georgetown Football Association (GFA).

In handing over the uniforms to President of Sunburst Camptown, Troy Mendonca, Green pledged his and Camptown New York’s continued support for the local chapter and the development of the players.
He has also promised to donate another set of uniforms to the junior team, this time white and black to the orange and black they received.
The seniors received one set of jerseys, which Mendonca said will assist in setting a high standard of uniformity at practice sessions and when the team has to travel to various venues.
Mendonca expressed his gratitude on behalf of the club to Green and the Camptown New York Executive.
