Toucan Industries robbed hours after another Kinston locale

Less than 24 hours after an armed bandit was cut down in a hail of police gunfire, two gun-toting bandits calmly walked into Toucan Industries, in Kingston, last evening, and relieved the business of an undisclosed sum of cash.
The owner of the longstanding business refused to disclose much detail, pointing out that, at this time, she and some 10 staff members, who were present at the time, were very traumatized.
She did confirm that the place was indeed robbed by the gun-toting men.
A security guard recalled that he noticed the two medium built men calmly walk into the business place, but it was the way that they were dressed that caused him to remember them, thinking deep down that something was amiss.
According to the man, the two men were both wearing coats and silver grey helmets.
He noted that he recalled seeing the men calmly walk out one in front of the other, get on their motorcycle and proceed south along Water Street.
Toucan Industries is located in the vicinity of Barrack and Water Streets, Kingston.
He recounted to this newspaper that it was not until the police arrived and questioned him as to what he recalled then he knew it was a robbery. He said that deep down inside, “Something looked funny about the two men.”
The police are investigating the robbery that occurred mere hours after that at the Universal Travel and Tour Company, also of Kingston, yesterday.
