The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport recently dispatched football coach Dennis `Chow’ Hunte to Region Eight to conduct clinics.
Hunte, who has been holding clinics across Guyana, travelled recently to Paramakatoi among other villages in Region Eight to come good on a promise Minister Dr. Frank Anthony made to decentralize the sport in Guyana.
Residents there have seen the impact he has made and requested he conduct a longer stint in the area, which the ministry is expected to schedule.
However, a stint at Mabaruma is scheduled by mid-month.
In this photo Hunte makes a point to several very attentive youngsters at Paramakatoi.
