Outstanding performances were turned in by bowlers from the Mibicuri Strikers of Black Bush Polder as the Demerara Bank 2nd Division 40-Overs cricket competition in Berbice continued last Saturday.
Mibicuri’s bowlers led by Deonarine Ramdeo’s, 4 for 9, Joseph Brijbilas’ 2 for 2, Deodat Persaud’s 2 for 3 and Sanjay Seeraj’s 2 for 8 routed Johanna Warriors for 22 in 13.4 overs, the lowest score of the tournament so date. Mibicuri then lost 2 wickets in reaching their target.
After his side Strykers of Corriverton were bowled out for 112 by Kim IL Sung, Vincent Chattergoon took 5 for 23 to bowl his team to a 33 run triumph.

Charran Bhoj contributed a polished 51. #73 Warriors overhauled their target losing only five wickets on the back of a even half century from Chanderkumar Ramjass and 32 from Latchman.
Number 69 Vikings’ Virvasha Ramdharry’s 79, his second fifty of the tournament, was more than half of his side’s score of 139 which proved too much for #70 Lalman who were skittled for 66 in reply.
