In the past week, fires of various origins destroyed the homes of three families. Out of concern and humane reflection, Kaieteur News Publisher, Glenn Lall, donated $100,000 to each of the affected families to assist with their intended rebuilding.
Each recipient was highly appreciative of the donation.
They said that they had been left homeless and with no clothing and food. They also indicated that they would welcome any additional assistance from the public and corporate sector.
